About the Prestige Sauna Thermometer, Hygrometer and Sand Timer
An analog wall set - a combined temperature and humidity gauge plus a sand timer. No batteries, no display to fail, nothing that objects to being mounted inside a hot, humid cabin.
The humidity reading is the useful half. Temperature alone does not tell you how a session will feel: the same 180 degrees is a very different room at 10 percent humidity versus 40 percent, and the gauge is what lets you repeat a session you liked.

Installation and care
Mount it at head height on a cabin wall, away from direct steam off the stones - a gauge sitting in the plume reads the plume, not the room. Keep it clear of the heater's direct radiant path.
Common questions
Why do I need a humidity gauge in a sauna?
Temperature alone does not describe the session. The same temperature feels very different at low versus high humidity, and the gauge is how you repeat a session you liked.
Does it need batteries?
No. It is a fully analog set - gauge plus sand timer.
Where should it be mounted?
At head height on a cabin wall, away from the direct steam plume and out of the heater's direct radiant path.
