About the Prestige Sauna Stove Lava Stones
Replacement lava stones for a traditional sauna stove. Stones are a wear item: repeated heat cycling and water contact breaks them down, and as they crumble they pack tighter, choke airflow through the stove and make the cabin slower to heat.
If your stove has started taking noticeably longer to come up to temperature, or you can see fragments and dust in the stone bed, the stones are due rather than the stove being faulty.

Rinse new stones before the first burn and stack them loosely so air can move between them - packing them tight is the most common installation mistake. Inspect the bed once a season and restack or replace crumbling stones.
