About the Prestige Sauna Bucket and Ladle Set
The matched bucket and long-handled ladle for pouring water over the stones. In a traditional cabin this is not decoration - it is how you control humidity during the session, and the long handle is what keeps your hand out of the steam plume coming off the stones.
If you are commissioning a stove-heated cabin, this is the first accessory to order alongside the stones.

Installation and care
Empty the bucket after each session rather than leaving standing water in the cabin, and store it where it can dry. Standing water in a warm cabin is what causes staining and odour over time.
Common questions
Do I need a bucket and ladle for an infrared sauna?
No. Pouring water over stones applies to traditional stove-heated cabins. Infrared cabins run dry.
Why is the ladle handle so long?
To keep your hand and forearm clear of the steam plume that comes off the stones the moment water hits them.
Should I leave water in the bucket between sessions?
No. Empty it and let it dry - standing water in a warm cabin causes staining and odour.
